The United Electric Car Company photographs consist of ten black and white albumen pictures of trams manufactured by the United Electric Car Company of Preston, Lancashire, United Kingdom, circa 1915-1920. The bulk of the images are of tram cars produced for English cities, but there are also photographs of trams in cities in Uruguay, Philippines, Argentina, and Australia. All photographs are embossed with "E. Hoole Photo, Preston" in the lower right or left hand corner. Some photographs are stamped in red on the verso with "The United Electric Car Company, LTD. Preston."
